This ingenious and compact sewing machine tool from Prym conceals no fewer than three super handy and time-saving functions: threader, needle inserter, and magnet. The tool consists of 95% purple and white plastic and 5% metal. APPLICATION Needle inserter (purple part): insert the machine needle with the tip pointing downwards into the clamp and push the top of the needle as far as possible into the sewing machine. Tighten the screw firmly and remove the needle inserter. Threader (white side): lower the presser foot of the sewing machine and ensure the needle is at the highest position. Hold the threader so that the hook and arrow are at the top and place the thread between the horizontal slot. Position the threader at a right angle against the needle, let the tool slide slowly down the needle while applying light pressure. As soon as the eye is reached, a small metal pin pushes the thread through the eye. Carefully remove the pin from the eye, then finally pass the hook through the loop and pull the thread end through the eye. Magnet (silver-colored): the purple part of the tool contains a small magnet that allows dropped needles and pins to be picked up in an instant.
